# HIDIVE vs EffDat

The clearest difference is update cadence: EffDat at every 3 days against HIDIVE's every 2 months. HIDIVE's advantage is chart position (#44 vs unranked) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HIDIVE sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and EffDat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HIDIVE ships an update every 2 months, EffDat every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
