# FYD vs WiFi_CAM

The clearest difference is rating: FYD at 3.1 against WiFi_CAM's 2.6. FYD also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). WiFi_CAM's advantage is ratings volume (951 vs 91). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FYD holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WiFi_CAM has 951 ratings behind it against 91, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of FYD's written reviews are positive against 23% of WiFi_CAM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FYD ships an update every 2 weeks, WiFi_CAM every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
