# FYD vs WiFi UAV

The clearest difference is rating: FYD at 3.1 against WiFi UAV's 2.9. WiFi UAV's advantage is ratings volume (471 vs 91). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FYD holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WiFi UAV has 471 ratings behind it against 91, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of FYD's written reviews are positive against 28% of WiFi UAV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FYD ships an update every 2 weeks, WiFi UAV every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
