# FYD vs HFun Fly

The clearest difference is rating: HFun Fly at 3.6 against FYD's 3.1. FYD's advantage is ratings volume (91 vs 10) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HFun Fly holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FYD has 91 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of FYD's written reviews are positive against 18% of HFun Fly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
