# Cloxee vs Day Counter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Day Counter at 90% against Cloxee's 35%. Day Counter also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (447 vs 30). Cloxee's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloxee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Day Counter sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Day Counter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Day Counter has 447 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 35% of Cloxee's written reviews are positive against 90% of Day Counter's.

Cloxee ships an update monthly, Day Counter every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
