# Simple Reaction Time Test vs Tap on Time!

The clearest difference is rating: Tap on Time! at 4.6 against Simple Reaction Time Test's 4.0. Tap on Time! also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (61K vs 10). Simple Reaction Time Test's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.5). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Reaction Time Test sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Tap on Time! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tap on Time! holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tap on Time! has 61K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Simple Reaction Time Test's written reviews are positive against 14% of Tap on Time!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simple Reaction Time Test ships an update every 10 months, Tap on Time! fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
