# Lujo vs Velocity Black

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lujo at every 4 days against Velocity Black's fortnightly. Lujo also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and device support (3 vs 1). Velocity Black's advantage is ratings volume (571 vs 21). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Velocity Black holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Velocity Black has 571 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Lujo's written reviews are positive against 82% of Velocity Black's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lujo ships an update every 4 days, Velocity Black fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
