# Bible Reading Plan vs Scofield Study Bible Offline

The clearest difference is rating: Scofield Study Bible Offline at 4.7 against Bible Reading Plan's 2.3. Scofield Study Bible Offline also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 3) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). Bible Reading Plan's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 30 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible Reading Plan sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Scofield Study Bible Offline sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scofield Study Bible Offline holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scofield Study Bible Offline has 1.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Bible Reading Plan's written reviews are positive against 30% of Scofield Study Bible Offline's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bible Reading Plan ships an update every 2 months, Scofield Study Bible Offline every 30 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
