# Clue are you? vs MatHop

The clearest difference is rating: Clue are you? at 5.0 against MatHop's 4.6. MatHop's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (16 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clue are you? sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and MatHop sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clue are you? holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MatHop has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Clue are you? ships an update every 5 months, MatHop every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
