# Eye Reader vs Tarot Eagle

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tarot Eagle at 67% against Eye Reader's 5%. Tarot Eagle also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Eye Reader's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eye Reader sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Tarot Eagle sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eye Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eye Reader has 95 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of Eye Reader's written reviews are positive against 67% of Tarot Eagle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eye Reader ships an update weekly, Tarot Eagle monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
