# Conjugate Method vs My Texas Method

The clearest difference is monetization model: Conjugate Method at free against My Texas Method's freemium. Conjugate Method also leads on ratings volume (16 vs 2) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 26.2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Conjugate Method sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and My Texas Method sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.0 for Conjugate Method against 3.0 for My Texas Method. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Conjugate Method has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

Conjugate Method ships an update fortnightly, My Texas Method every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
