# Penguin Run vs Super Dash

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Penguin Run at 50% against Super Dash's 0%. Penguin Run also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (9 vs 2). Super Dash's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Penguin Run sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Super Dash sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Super Dash holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Penguin Run's written reviews are positive against 0% of Super Dash's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Penguin Run ships an update every 6 weeks, Super Dash fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
