# Event Countdown vs Countdown

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Countdown at 82% against Event Countdown's 0%. Countdown also leads on ratings volume (3.1K vs 108). Event Countdown's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Event Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Event Countdown holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown has 3.1K ratings behind it against 108, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Event Countdown's written reviews are positive against 82% of Countdown's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
