# Goldenergy vs amigo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Goldenergy at 83% against amigo's 33%. Goldenergy also leads on ratings volume (147 vs 7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). amigo's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

amigo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Goldenergy has 147 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Goldenergy's written reviews are positive against 33% of amigo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Goldenergy ships an update every 5 weeks, amigo monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
