# Speed Queen vs Laundry Connect Pay

Speed Queen and Laundry Connect Pay both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of Laundry Connect Pay's written reviews are positive against 42% of Speed Queen's. Laundry Connect Pay also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). Speed Queen's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (24K vs 6.3K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Speed Queen holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 24K and 6.3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Speed Queen's written reviews are positive against 73% of Laundry Connect Pay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Speed Queen ships an update fortnightly, Laundry Connect Pay every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
