# Speed Queen vs GradeView

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GradeView at 78% against Speed Queen's 42%. GradeView also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). Speed Queen's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Speed Queen holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed Queen has 24K ratings behind it against 90, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Speed Queen's written reviews are positive against 78% of GradeView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Speed Queen ships an update fortnightly, GradeView every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
