# Mouse Timer vs Wedge

The clearest difference is rating: Wedge at 5.0 against Mouse Timer's 4.3. Wedge also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). Mouse Timer's advantage is ratings volume (83 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mouse Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wedge sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wedge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mouse Timer has 83 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mouse Timer ships an update monthly, Wedge every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
