# GolfPro vs GolfPass

GolfPro and GolfPass both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of GolfPro's written reviews are positive against 46% of GolfPass's. GolfPro also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). GolfPass's advantage is ratings volume (5.5K vs 6). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GolfPass sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. GolfPro asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for GolfPro against 4.8 for GolfPass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GolfPass has 5.5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of GolfPro's written reviews are positive against 46% of GolfPass's.

GolfPro ships an update every 2 weeks, GolfPass every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
