# Beads Creator vs Divoom

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Divoom at none against Beads Creator's 1. Divoom also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Beads Creator's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 44%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beads Creator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Divoom asks for nothing beyond the download.

Divoom holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Divoom has 12K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Beads Creator's written reviews are positive against 44% of Divoom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Beads Creator ships an update every 2 months, Divoom every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
