# VRP vs Vocal Image

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VRP at none against Vocal Image's 10. VRP also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Vocal Image's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 8) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vocal Image sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. VRP asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for VRP against 4.5 for Vocal Image. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vocal Image has 11K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VRP ships an update every 2 months, Vocal Image every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
