# Abalon vs CyberHive

The clearest difference is price: Abalon at Free against CyberHive's $0.49. Abalon also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (1K vs 3). CyberHive's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5). On rating, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Abalon is free to download; CyberHive costs $0.49 up front. Abalon sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. CyberHive asks for nothing beyond the download.

CyberHive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Abalon has 1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Abalon's written reviews are positive against 77% of CyberHive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Abalon ships an update every 2 days, CyberHive every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
