# ImeCar vs CloudDVR

The clearest difference is rating: CloudDVR at 2.5 against ImeCar's 1.3. CloudDVR also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CloudDVR holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CloudDVR has 27 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ImeCar ships an update every 2 months, CloudDVR monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
