# Drafts vs Craft

Drafts and Craft both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of Craft's written reviews are positive against 70% of Drafts's. Drafts's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drafts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Craft sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Drafts against 4.8 for Craft. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11K and 6.6K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Drafts's written reviews are positive against 85% of Craft's.

Drafts ships an update every 4 days, Craft every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
