# Drafts vs Anytype

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Drafts at 11K against Anytype's 245. Drafts also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drafts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Anytype sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drafts holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drafts has 11K ratings behind it against 245, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of Drafts's written reviews are positive against 64% of Anytype's.

Drafts ships an update every 6 days, Anytype fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
