# Drafts vs MindFox

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MindFox at none against Drafts's 3. MindFox also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Drafts's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drafts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. MindFox asks for nothing beyond the download.

MindFox holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drafts has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Drafts ships an update every 6 days, MindFox every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
