# Drafts vs TaskKast

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaskKast at every 2 days against Drafts's every 4 days. Drafts's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drafts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TaskKast sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drafts ships an update every 4 days, TaskKast every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
