# DNGRZ vs Subway Train Simulator

The clearest difference is ads: DNGRZ at none against Subway Train Simulator's shown. DNGRZ also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Subway Train Simulator's advantage is ratings volume (244 vs 7). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DNGRZ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Subway Train Simulator sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for DNGRZ against 4.3 for Subway Train Simulator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subway Train Simulator has 244 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DNGRZ ships an update every 2 weeks, Subway Train Simulator every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
