# Paytrack vs CrewPays

The clearest difference is monetization model: CrewPays at freemium against Paytrack's subscription. CrewPays also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 71%). Paytrack's advantage is ratings volume (720 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paytrack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and CrewPays sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CrewPays holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paytrack has 720 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Paytrack's written reviews are positive against 100% of CrewPays's.

Paytrack ships an update every 4 months, CrewPays weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
