# Shipwell vs Vision 2020

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vision 2020 at 67% against Shipwell's 37%. Vision 2020 also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.4). Shipwell's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (4.6K vs 15). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shipwell holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shipwell has 4.6K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Shipwell's written reviews are positive against 67% of Vision 2020's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shipwell ships an update every 3 weeks, Vision 2020 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
