# GoldKey Camera vs PrivCamera

The clearest difference is update cadence: GoldKey Camera at every 2 months against PrivCamera's every 18 months. GoldKey Camera also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoldKey Camera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PrivCamera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GoldKey Camera ships an update every 2 months, PrivCamera every 18 months. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
