# FPL vs WarnerShield

The clearest difference is rating: FPL at 4.5 against WarnerShield's 3.4. FPL also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (23K vs 5). WarnerShield's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FPL holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FPL has 23K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FPL ships an update every 6 weeks, WarnerShield every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
