# FPL vs MER DSP

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MER DSP at 100% against FPL's 41%. MER DSP also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). FPL's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 4) and chart position (#165 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MER DSP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FPL has 23K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of FPL's written reviews are positive against 100% of MER DSP's.

FPL ships an update every 6 weeks, MER DSP fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
