# FPL vs Overworld Map

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FPL at none against Overworld Map's 1. FPL also leads on chart position (#198 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). Overworld Map's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Overworld Map sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FPL asks for nothing beyond the download.

FPL ships an update every 6 weeks, Overworld Map fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
