# Mid vs WLAS

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mid at every 2 months against WLAS's every 42 months. WLAS's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mid holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WLAS has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mid ships an update every 2 months, WLAS every 42 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
