# ReadAnywhere vs Textron Aviation 1View

The clearest difference is rating: ReadAnywhere at 4.6 against Textron Aviation 1View's 3.2. ReadAnywhere also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 15) and chart position (#37 vs unranked). Textron Aviation 1View's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 16%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReadAnywhere holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ReadAnywhere has 10K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of ReadAnywhere's written reviews are positive against 33% of Textron Aviation 1View's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ReadAnywhere ships an update every 6 weeks, Textron Aviation 1View every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
