# Divoom vs Pixilart

The clearest difference is ads: Divoom at none against Pixilart's shown. Divoom also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). Pixilart's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 44%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Divoom holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Divoom has 12K ratings behind it against 2.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Divoom's written reviews are positive against 55% of Pixilart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Divoom ships an update every 2 weeks, Pixilart fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
