# Custom Emojis Maker vs Animator Face Dance

The clearest difference is monetization model: Animator Face Dance at free with in-app purchases against Custom Emojis Maker's subscription. Animator Face Dance also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). Custom Emojis Maker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (62% vs 40%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Custom Emojis Maker sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Animator Face Dance sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Animator Face Dance holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1K and 476 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Custom Emojis Maker's written reviews are positive against 40% of Animator Face Dance's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Custom Emojis Maker ships an update every 2 months, Animator Face Dance every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
