# Foothills App vs Lifeway On Demand

The clearest difference is monetization model: Foothills App at free against Lifeway On Demand's free with in-app purchases. Foothills App also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.4). Lifeway On Demand's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Foothills App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lifeway On Demand has 1.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Foothills App ships an update every 2 months, Lifeway On Demand every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
