# MySudo vs Lockmagic

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lockmagic at none against MySudo's 8. Lockmagic also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). MySudo's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 4) and chart position (#123 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MySudo sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Lockmagic asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for MySudo against 4.8 for Lockmagic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MySudo has 16K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MySudo ships an update every 3 weeks, Lockmagic monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
