# MySudo vs freemail

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: freemail at none against MySudo's 8. freemail also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). MySudo's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MySudo sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. freemail asks for nothing beyond the download.

freemail holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MySudo has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MySudo ships an update every 3 weeks, freemail every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
