# SALUS vs Hathorn Viewer

The clearest difference is rating: Hathorn Viewer at 3.0 against SALUS's 2.5. Hathorn Viewer also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). SALUS's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hathorn Viewer holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SALUS has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
