# AimCam Pro vs AAE Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: AAE Mobile at 5.0 against AimCam Pro's 2.6. AimCam Pro's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AAE Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AimCam Pro has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AimCam Pro ships an update every 3 months, AAE Mobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
