# AimCam Pro vs NetSpot WiFi Analyzer

The clearest difference is rating: NetSpot WiFi Analyzer at 3.7 against AimCam Pro's 2.6. NetSpot WiFi Analyzer also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (354 vs 9). AimCam Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (40% vs 15%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NetSpot WiFi Analyzer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. AimCam Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

NetSpot WiFi Analyzer holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NetSpot WiFi Analyzer has 354 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of AimCam Pro's written reviews are positive against 15% of NetSpot WiFi Analyzer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AimCam Pro ships an update every 3 months, NetSpot WiFi Analyzer every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
