# Carv Digital Ski Coach vs Piste

The clearest difference is device support: Piste at 4 against Carv Digital Ski Coach's 2. Piste also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carv Digital Ski Coach sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per year and Piste sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
