# Carv Digital Ski Coach vs ParkProgress

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ParkProgress at none against Carv Digital Ski Coach's 1. ParkProgress also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Carv Digital Ski Coach's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 4). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carv Digital Ski Coach sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per year. ParkProgress asks for nothing beyond the download.

Carv Digital Ski Coach holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carv Digital Ski Coach has 2.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Carv Digital Ski Coach's written reviews are positive against 100% of ParkProgress's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Carv Digital Ski Coach ships an update every 8 days, ParkProgress monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
