# Interject! vs Chub.

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Interject! at none against Chub.'s 1. Interject! also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). Chub.'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ratings volume, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chub. sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Interject! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chub. holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Interject!'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Chub.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Interject! ships an update every 3 months, Chub. fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
