# KitCon vs CookConvert

The clearest difference is ads: CookConvert at none against KitCon's shown. CookConvert also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KitCon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CookConvert sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KitCon ships an update every 6 months, CookConvert every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
