# Receipts vs Receipts App

The clearest difference is rating: Receipts App at 5.0 against Receipts's 4.6. Receipts's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (482 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Receipts sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Receipts App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Receipts App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Receipts has 482 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Receipts ships an update every 3 weeks, Receipts App every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
