# Simon's Cat vs Lumeno

The clearest difference is ads: Simon's Cat at none against Lumeno's shown. Simon's Cat also leads on ratings volume (53K vs 1). Lumeno's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simon's Cat sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Lumeno sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Simon's Cat against 5.0 for Lumeno. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simon's Cat has 53K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
