The clearest difference is rating: Headphone Control at 4.6 against nura's 3.5. nura's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (41% vs 26%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Headphone Control holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 137 and 128 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of nura's written reviews are positive against 26% of Headphone Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
